We are promoting Sarpagandha plants in one hectare of land as a demonstration centre so that villagers can adopt the farming to generate income and reduce felling of forest by shifting cultivation. The project empower the people and community base organizations to face people’s issues and collectively bring changes and solutions.
A formal school from classes 1 to X duly recognized by Directorate of education health and Board of secondary education. It prepares the students for matriculation examination and career formation. The school provides space for children to develop mental, spiritual, moral, ethics, physical, social, leadership etc.
Safe drinking water, clean sanitary environment, personal and household/community hygiene are responsible for healthy life. So the csdo is taking up construction of community toilets, school latrines, individual BPL household latrines under Nirmal Bharat Abhijan(NBA) with the financial and technical support of the Public Health Engineering Division, Chandel, Government of Manipur.
We give seed money to women Self Help Groups of chandel district for taking up piggery, vegetable garden, weaving, king chilli and Banana farming. We sensitise villagers on social security schemes i.e. entitlements in the public distribution system, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Generation Scheme etc of government so that they can access schemes and entitlements
